Paula Henderson is a lecturer and writer on British architecture and garden history.  She has degrees in art history (University of Wisconsin, BA; University of Chicago, MA) and a PhD in architectural history from the Courtauld Institute of Art (University of London).  She has published over 70 articles on Tudor and early Stuart architecture and gardens and her book, The Tudor House and Garden, won the prestigious Berger Prize in 2005.  She has worked as a consultant and expert witness for a number of important historic gardens.
